"We like to outfit those spaces just as much as
every other room," Chaput says.
There are also some thoroughly modern extras.
Foxridge's show home on Willow Creek Road in
Bridgwater Trails has a covered deck with fireplace
and TV centre for outdoor viewing, bold black
features in the master ensuite, and in-vogue
lighting fixtures, including a dramatic art deco
number in a stunning walk-in closet.
Hearth Homes took an art deco theme and
ran with it in its show home on Fetterly Way in
Taylor Farm, as an example of the continuity
homeowners can achieve in a fully custom home.
"This is a custom home from start to finish and
everything works," Hearth Homes design and
marketing manager Liam Milne says. "We want to
showcase that in our show homes so that people
understand that this is an entire process."
