130 Parade of Homes Spring 2019 Incorporating the most current approaches in community planning, architecture, design and landscaping, Sage Creek is a richly diverse community with something for everyone — whether you're starting fresh, redesigning your life or entering the next stage. The hub of this community is its Village Centre, with a growing list of shopping, dining, lifestyle and professional service options — all just minutes from home by car or foot for residents. One of the newest additions to Sage Creek's Village Centre is 9Round, a fitness studio offering a 30-minute kickboxing workout. The studio's co-owners David Thomas and Melissa Rodriguez fell in love with 9Round in 2018, after taking advantage of a Valentine's Day promo- tion. After a few months of membership, they decided to take the leap to open their own gym. "We chose Sage Creek because it's a friendly tight-knit community where everyone looks out for one another and that transfers to inside of our gym," says Thomas. "9Round is a great way to accom- plish a full-body workout while meeting new people in the community," adds Rodriguez. The welcoming and lively community spirit is what also attracted Carbone Coal Fired Pizza to launch their newest brand Fast Fired in Sage Creek's Village Centre. "This is a young and thriving commu- nity with a walkable appeal that promotes an active lifestyle. This fits perfectly with our brand because it's a healthy concept," says Benjamin Nasberg of Carbone Restaurant Brands Inc. Fast Fired features white subway tiles throughout the pizzeria, creating a bright, open and inviting environment. At one attractive price point, guests can order unlimited toppings for a pizza or salad and then watch it being made in under 180 seconds. "It's going to be a very fun, exciting and high-energy space. You're going to see the dough being stretched by the pizza chefs and cooked in the oven right in front of you," explains Nasberg. Sage Creek's energy and continued growth is positively impacting other ongoing development investments in the community. This year, Dobie Properties Ltd. is breaking ground to build luxury townhome-style condos along Grey Heron Drive, which are aiming to offer occupancy by late summer 2019. "We chose to develop here because there's a sense of individuality and pride in what's being built," says Dave Dobie, pres- ident of Dobie Properties Ltd. "When you enter Sage Creek, you can tell that there is an extensive plan for this community." With three different layouts, each unit will offer an open-concept main floor with vaulted ceilings, provide a spacious second-level laundry room and include an attached garage. 19 of the 22 units will also have walkout basements that will overlook the naturalized wetlands. Also now under construction is Latitude 49 at Sage Creek, a 400-unit, six- building complex by Deveraux Develop- ments. When fully complete this rental complex will offer residents a broad range of lifestyle amenities including a pool, outdoor barbecue area, fire pit, gym, lounge and even a private dog park. With its broad array of amenities and diverse housing options, Sage Creek is designed to be a home for people across all ages and in all stages of their life, making it a truly complete community.
