"For a certain percentage of the market, they want to
see what they're getting," Musick says. "And there's
that confidence that they have those selections that
have been done by a professional designer and it
becomes worry-free."
In contrast, Qualico company Foxridge Homes is a
luxury custom builder, with a design team that tailors
each home to specific clients' needs.
"The main advantage is you can literally design your
space to suit it exactly to your lifestyle," says Foxridge
marketing manager Colleen Chaput.
That might mean building a fully accessible home,
adding a dog bath, or installing a two-person shower.
The latter feature is on display in three Parade entries
from Foxridge, along with knockout kitchens, multi-
functional office spaces and laundry rooms equipped
with high-end cabinetry and designer finishes.
