Redwing blackbirds, frogs, cranes and the occasional coyote also make cameos at Sage Creek. And spotting them isnt too difficult, since theres plenty of open space surrounding each cluster of homes. Single family houses, condos, apartments and townhomes are all part of Sage Creeks big-picture plan to create a community that attracts people of all ages and incomes from singles and young families to empty nesters and seniors. What will tie all of these groups of people together? Most likely a shared love of traveling by foot or bike. Weve interlaced all of this open space with a bunch of trails so that you can take a walk on the trails, which provide a shortcut to get to the Village Centre, Mr. Vogan says, referring to Sage Creeks common area. Ms. Matias confirms a trek on the trails will get your blood flowing. The first time we did it I was like, Either Im out of shape or this is a really long trail, she laughs. It feels very wild yet its right outside your door But a sizable community calls for a lengthy path. There are 1,000 homes in the area at present, and Mr. Vogan expects to see another 2,000 built before the community is complete. Builders include Randall Homes, Qualico Homes, Broadview Homes, Kensington Homes, Ginos Homes, Artista Homes, Sterling Homes, Arlt Homes, Maric Homes, KDR Homes, Hearth Homes, Foxridge Homes and Hearth Homes.
