Does your place lack space? The biggest challenge is
trying to trick the eye into making your home appear
larger than it is. You can achieve that illusion with the
right paint palette, lighting, furniture selection, and –
of course – by keeping your clutter at bay, says Kelsey
Kosman, owner/designer of Dollhouse Design.
"Keep light, neutral colours on the walls,
and keep (the home) really light and bright
and airy," Kosman says, adding it's equally
important to eliminate the number of
different flooring styles and paint colours in
a home that's on the snug side.
