THE HARDWARE HAS A VINTAGE LOOK, WITH INDUSTRIAL-STYLE
SUPPORTS FOR THE SHELVING, WROUGHT-IRON CUP PULLS ON
DRAWERS AND SIMPLE ROUND KNOBS ON CABINETS.
Set into the island, the faucet and granite sink
are matte black, and countertops are caramel-
coloured, black-speckled quartz.
Above the island, metal shows up again. The coach
lantern-style pendants are wrought iron and wood
with glass panels. The style is loosely echoed in
the matching wagon-wheel style chandelier over
the dining table and in a wrought-iron curtain rod
above the window.
It all rests on engineered maple hardwood flooring,
which extends from the great room through to the
corner pantry, which is hidden behind a frosted
five-panel glass door, trimmed in black and framed
in Tuscan maple to match the cabinets.
