The Kernoski trio has also attended every Grey Cup game since 1983. Ted says he paid for Paul to attend his first Grey Cup game and his son has repaid the favour every year since, treating his dad. The Bombers will have to excuse Ted for one game this season due to a previous commitment – he and his wife Betty will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in Hawaii, a gift from Paul and Lillian. Mainster recalls the last "big" move to the new Winnipeg Stadium at Polo Park in 1953 which was dubbed "The House That Jack Built", as a compliment to Jacobs, and he's excited to watch his team step into yet another new era at Investors Group Field. "I have had an opportunity to take a sneak peek at the new stadium when visiting the new Bomber Store and it is the most impressive field I have ever seen. I am looking forward to joining all the fans at the games and cheering our team on to victory." Laurie Mainster is a retired advertising executive, former member of the Bombers' Board, a vibrant 63 year season ticket holder, and one of a rare group of fans who will have enjoyed Blue Bomber action in all three stadium locations in Winnipeg. "I remember Osborne Stadium very well," said Mainster. "Those were the years when Tom Casey and Jack Jacobs were the stars and leaders of the team. The grandstands were so close to the playing field back then that, sometimes, Winnipeg Football Club CEO, Garth Buchko was on hand to greet Mainster and thank him for his life-long commitment to the Blue Bombers. "Laurie exemplifies the spirit and loyalty of our fans who I have often called the best in the league. Here's to making even more Blue Bomber football memories."
