MARTINDALES SAY
'I DO' TO BOMBERS
Nathan Martindale considers himself Winnipeg's
biggest Blue Bomber fan and he makes a good case.
His mother, also a fan, originally bought him a Blue
Bomber season ticket as a graduation present and
he's been an avid fan ever since. He met his future
wife, seated three rows behind him in the student
section of Canad Inns stadium, then had his first date
with her at the Banjo Bowl.

For their wedding, photos were
taken – where else? – at the stadium
with groomsmen, tuxedos and all,
participating in a kicking competition.
As you might imagine, when the
Martindales welcomed baby Sierra
last summer, she wore Bomber gear
home from the hospital.
"I am excited beyond words for the first game at
Investors Group Field," Martindale said. "I have many
fond memories of the old stadium, but there comes a
time to move forward. The new stadium is awesome
and a fine addition to our city and province."
