GET READY TO PLAY 21 CHEERS TO FASTER SERVICE AND GREATER SELECTION IF CHEERING ON THE HOME TEAM LEAVES YOU A LITTLE PARCHED, finding something to quench your thirst at the Bombers' new digs won't be a problem. In fact, Gerry Ellis, general manager of Ovations Food Services at Investors Group Field, said he has you covered. "Whether you want a soda, a cooler or a beer, we know you want it fast and you want it cold," Ellis said. "At Ovations, we're committed to serving top-quality products and doing so in a way that doesn't keep you waiting in line." Using the latest technology and Chill-Rite draught dispensers, Ellis said fans will be guaranteed a frosty beer in every cup. "It's just above freezing," Ellis said, "which makes it a new and improved way of dispensing draught beer." Concession stands at Investors Group Field will have five Chill-Rite towers, each dispensing two kinds of beer. There will also be portable carts that will serve beer using the Bottoms Up system, where the draught is shot into the cup from a hole in the bottom. A magnet then secures your beverage in place. "This will allow us to serve the beer cold and fast with a 12-oz. cup being filled in four seconds." Another feature at Investors Group Field is "plug-in and move" portable carts with six on the lower concourse and two on the upper level, one in the east and one in the west, Ellis explained. Tall Boy cans will also be available out of portable carts with large ice boxes, so they're nicely chilled. For fans wanting a cooler or a glass of wine, those will be available, too – red and white wine and six different flavours of coolers. The Goal Line concessions – located on both 100 and 200 levels – will feature all types of liquor and plenty of options from their World of Beer selection. Continued on page 22
