ON THE FRONT LINES As a health care union, CUPE 204 is made up of mostly women, many of whom are racialized workers. Women have been disproportionaly affected by COVID-19. Not only do we work on the front line in essential fields like health care, but because many of us are also balancing home schooling, childcare needs, caring for our elders, in addition to facing sexism and misogyny in the workplace and society.
