Amy Tuckett-McGimpsey of Women's Health Clinic
explained that the organization usually spends about
$120,000 per year to give out free birth control, but
prices have increased during the pandemic. The annual
fundraiser helps offset these costs while also offering an
evening that sparks enjoyment and connection.
"In the past, it was just electric in the air when
everybody got into the room with the combination of
food and wine and mingling and live music. We have
tried really hard to replicate some of that excitement and
bonding," Tuckett-McGimpsey said.
