Resolutions Resolutions are at the heart of The Manitoba Chambers' mission and purpose. Chambers plural is inclusive of the local and regional chambers as well as our own corporate members. Resolutions play a key role in giving us our grassroots nature, and these important resolutions depend upon the will of the local chambers, and are reflective of core values and community concerns. Our aim is to be attentive and intentional around the long-term challenges and multi-year strategies; responsive and proactive to emerging issues as we see trends hit their stride. Each year the Policy Committee is appointed by the Board to review all proposed resolutions to determine the eligibility of the subjects for discussion at the annual meeting convention. All approved resolutions are distributed to the member organizations prior to the AGM to allow them adequate time to study, review, discuss, and debate at the AGM. 2013-2014 Key Strategic Directions include: 1.
