If you have renovated before, you've u ered "While we're at it, we might as well …" As much as the concept of tacking more than one renovation goal onto another may make sense, it can also be costly to your bank account — and to your relationship. Preparing for home makeovers is a vital first step. This need to plan is the key reason the Winnipeg Free Press decided to partner with the Winnipeg Renovation Show. It is a valuable local resource. Vendors are happy to walk you through some of your big concerns. Ge ing it wrong is not an option when you are dealing with your biggest asset. But there is more to updating your house than improving your property values. This is your home. Once makeovers are done, you want to love them for a long time. So, whether you are thinking of doing entire gut jobs or picking a new accent colour for your bedroom, the show is a wonderful place to start. (By the way, Cloverdale's colour of 2022 is Desirée.) For those of you who cannot make it to the show, we have a solution. The Winnipeg Free Press will be there taking notes. To be clearer — we're taking video for our YouTube channel. We've asked Studio One Eleven designers Kelli Johnson and Tamara Nyysola to cover the event for those of you who will not make it or for those who a ended but may have missed a thing or two. Fans of Spaces magazine have seen these Manitoba designers on the pages of Spaces and on screens of YouTube before. They've instructed you on how to do an outdoor office and walked you through different plans on garage designs. And now these local designers will lend their expertise by helping you navigate the renovation show and unearth those exceptional design and reno gems. Shows await you!
