Customers can choose from a range of styles and configurations and there's a long list of customizable options, including vinyl drywall, vinyl plank flooring, custom showers, designer kitchen backsplashes, granite or quartz countertops, and a wide variety of kitchen cabinetry. "Pretty much any option you can get in a site-built home, we can offer it as well," Warms says. Modern homeowners also appreciate the fact that modular homes produce a significantly smaller carbon footprint than site-built homes. "When we optimize our lumber, we're not just optimizing for one home. In our one line right now, we have 17 units that are under construction. When we're cutting wood, we can look and see where can we use the remaining wood," he says. "We eliminate a lot of waste that way."
