1912-13 Copper sheathing the roof of Fort Garry Hotel in Winnipeg. Photography is a popular art medium. It's something our photography team at the Free Press understands well. In operation for 150 years, we have chronicled the province's achievements and tragedies. But we have also covered stories that may have involved locations, events or people you know and love. When we publish photos, we archive them. This places us in a unique position. Due to many requests, we started selling our photos on canvas or plaques. From idyllic lake scenes to historical events, there are wonderful options that could create a spectacular gallery wall or meaning- ful entryway discussion piece. And it's local, too.
