"When we visited the show home and saw the features, we thought it was good for us. Both of us liked the features because there's no stairs in the garage to get into the home. It's much better when you have little ones and you have to carry them." It's also easier to bring groceries inside or push a stroller in and out, he adds. Visitable homes have three basic requirements — a gentle slope/grade to at least one no-step entry, wide main-floor hallways and doorways and an accessible bathroom on the main floor.
