Remember the Montreal startup that created Canada's
first sofa-in-a-box? Well, the team at Cozey (cozey.ca) are
expanding their product line to furnish the entire living
room with modular furniture. After struggling to help move
friends' couches up steep staircases and wrestling them
through tight doorways, Cozey founder Frédéric Aubé
came up with easy-to-assemble sofas that are shipped in
boxes small enough for one person to move.
The new products include bolster pillows and three tables
— an adjustable side table, a media unit and a lift-up coffee
table that can be transformed into a desktop or eating area.
Push two or three units together depending on your space.
Each coffee table costs $210 and media units start at $145.
Easy to ship, the tables meet Cozey's criteria for
"convenience, elegance and affordability."
