"We wanted to have a substantial range hood
that sort of anchored the kitchen because it's this
symmetrical look that we wanted — centre sink, light
fixtures, range hood. It made the kitchen just look so
much grander," Miller says.
Taking the cabinets all the way to the ceiling and
adding crown molding enhances the effect, as does
the wide-plank luxury vinyl flooring.
"It's so knotty it looks like wood, and there is a
texture to it as well, so a lot of people have thought
it's hardwood or engineered hardwood," Miller says.
