"The whole spa and self-care
thing is very big in the home,"
Wieland adds.
There is growing interest in
smart toilets with auto-flush and
all-in-one systems with the bidet
built in. They are a clean-looking
design and, although still a little
pricey, she says they are coming
down in cost.
"These are great for people that
are either aging in place or who
want that extra little something
for their ensuite bathroom. A lot of
people who've travelled overseas
or have lived abroad are used to
them and it's hard to go back,"
Wieland says.
"Overall, the 'at-home' spa trend is
still going strong. Comfort is very
important."
