HOMES FALL 2023
Options include wood-burning, natural
gas or electric fireplaces, says owner
and general manager Dwayne Bennett.
"First, we determine what customers
are looking for, then we'll show them
around our showroom and see what
they like. We'll qualify their needs,
as far as how big their house is, what
their purpose is for their fireplace — if
they want something more decorative
or if they want something to heat their
home," he says.
"We do a needs-assessment first.
Then we get into what they're trying
to achieve and we find the right
product for them."
Flame and Comfort distributes its
products across Saskatchewan,
Manitoba and northwestern Ontario.
"It's a pretty wide range of products.
We have some wood fireplaces that
have their own central heating systems
so you can create separate duct work
from your furnace for different areas of
the house," Bennett says.
"Those take warm air off the fireplace
and divert it to where you want it to go.
That's a neat feature for people who
are looking for a primary heat source
for their house."
