HOMES FALL 2023
Though there is increasing interest
in smart and efficient technology in
home appliances, not everyone wants
it. Some in the older demograph-
ic have no use for the many new fea-
tures and may only use half of them.
For those customers, the more basic
appliances without the smarts are
quite satisfactory.
Also popular —with throwback
chrome accents and controls that are
easy to use and keep clean — the retro
electric range features the conve-
nience of convection cooking, which
circulates heat for even distribution to
speed up cooking time.
More and more customers are
choosing electric induction cooktops,
which apply instant heat and produce
a more consistent temperature
to evenly heat the bottoms of pots
and pans.
Appliances that are more fully integrat-
ed are also in demand, like dishwashers
and beverage centres made to look
like part of a pantry.
"They're the true built-in cabinetry so
you don't see them," Bradley says.
"You don't see the product unless you
want to see it."
As a road rep, Bradley revels in getting
out to dress up the show homes, meet
the people and create relationships
with builders. He oversees multi-fam-
ily projects, ensures quality control
and does all he can to help create
dream homes.
He suggests customers — whether
on a limited budget or wanting the
best in appliances — visit the design
centre at the Regent location as a
great way to start envisioning appli-
ances in their future home.
"Values of teamwork, excellence
and attitude form our culture in our
commercial division," he says. "We try
our best to provide every unparalleled
service."
Appliances that are
more fully inte-
grated are also in
demand, like dish-
washers and beverage
centres made to look
like part of a pantry.
