Wadden is also aware that new
homeowners are often limited in what
colours they can choose in many new
housing developments.
"Some homeowners' associations have
strict guidelines in place where you
can't paint bright colours," she says.
"One way to address that is to paint your
front door with an exterior element to
get those brighter tones in."
Deciding what colours to use for the
