"People want to create a space that they can enjoy for a long period of time. They want to connect to nature. I think people want to connect more to the outdoors and spend more time outside. It's not necessary to go somewhere to do that — it's right in your own backyard," Kosc says. "It's being able to go into their backyard and enjoy the weather or have a fire or spend time with family without having to go anywhere else. It's their own little retreat, in a sense." They might even consider it to be their own little world. The building supply store offers a 3D design service where a homeowner's preference can be drawn up and costs estimated.
