here's a whole world of possibilities
of how to create your own little
backyard paradise these days.
It starts with how homeowners can
maximize the space available to develop
their own Shangri-La.
"There's a huge variety and availability of so
many different products and ideas. I think
people, now more so than ever, are looking
to create those spaces that are more for
outdoor living," says Tanisha Kosc, manager
of the McMunn & Yates Building and
Supplies Pembina Highway store.
"It's an additional room outside their home
that's tailored to every family, to every
person about what they do or want most
out there, whether that be gardening or
entertaining or whatever focus they're
looking for."
Depending on the space available,
homeowners can simply build a deck or
patio. They can also add gazebos, summer
houses, pergolas, fireplaces, swimming
pools, saunas, hot tubs and so on. Outdoor
kitchens are another popular option.
