16 PARADE of HOMES SPRING 2024 Before building began, North Grassie Properties invested in significant upgrades to the municipal sewer to ensure every lot is serviced with the proper connections and water systems. Aware of the ever-increasing demand on internet speeds, whether for streaming or working from home, another key factor for Grande Pointe Meadows residents was to ensure the neighbourhood is serviced with high-speed internet. The developer also constructed a network of trail systems around naturalized retention ponds. There are five established builders helping shape the neighbour- hoods in Grande Pointe Meadows: Broadview, Kensington, Randall, Connection and, newly, K&S Homes. North Grassie Properties values the relationships with their builders, knowing they will deliver the kind of quality people can count on. "Most builders have been with us through several developments. We've had a great relationship with all these folks over the years. They've been partners of ours for a long time. These are people who we have a history with and trust, and we know the quality they will build. Our philosophy is, if you're going to build with us, we want you to be with us for a long-time basis," Avison says. "Each builder brings their own style, so it's not a cookie-cutter type development."
