As the neighbour- hoods grow, there will be more ponds and walking paths added. There are plans to add a park and a playground space in the spring. A nearby recreation centre offers baseball diamonds, rinks and other activities. Move-in ready homes are available, as well as lots available in Phase 5 of the 10-phase development. The single-family detached condos in the Villas section of Grande Pointe Meadows are perfect for empty-nesters looking to downsize but who aren't ready to move into an apartment or townhome. "You can still get a three-bed, two-bath, unfinished basement but at a more afford- able price — and you're still in a really nice neighbourhood with great amenities." The Spring Parade of Homes offerings in Grande Pointe Meadows will showcase a wide range of styles. The area has grown and filled out with homes and residents, so visitors will get a better sense of the community and what it's going to be like when it's fully inhabited. "In the fall, we only had four show homes from the builders and a couple of villas," Avison says, "so you're going to see more of a selection of homes and get a real feel for what it is there."
