136 PARADE of HOMES FALL 2024 The primary bedroom has a huge window, textured forest green feature wall behind the bed and a big walk-in closet. He adds that there are several subtle design touches in the adja- cent dining area. "First, we cantilevered it two feet to open extra space up between it and the island, which is just the right size. A teal wall on the wall behind the table adds colour and defines the dining area as well. The cantilever in the dining area is an option that really adds func- tion to the main living area." Finally, there's the great room. "A large window lets in lots of natural light, and it comes with an electric fireplace that's part of our standard great room package," Manak says. "There's also a huge TV area above. Main floor pot lights are also a standard option with this model." Head upstairs, and the first space you see is — of all things — a huge loft. "The idea behind it is that it makes the house feel bigger, and lots of natural light comes into the house through a huge window on its rear wall. It can easily be turned into a bedroom if needed." While the main bath is well-ap- pointed and the two secondary bedrooms are larger than expected, the second floor's crown jewel is unquestionably the privately posi- tioned primary bedroom. "It has a huge window, textured forest green feature wall behind the bed and a big walk-in closet. The three-piece ensuite has a walk-in shower with a tempera- ture-controlled rain shower- head and hand-held wand," he says. "The black trim around the shower looks great, too. It's a beautiful space." Overall, this is one beautiful and functional home that offers incredible livability and value. "We didn't waste a square foot in its design and put a lot of thought into its finishes," Manak says. "I think we achieved our goal of delivering a functional and appealing modern farmhouse home."
