POLAR EXPRESS
Get up close and personal with the Lords of the Arctic!
Churchill is the undisputed polar bear capital of the
world, and one of the few human settlements where
these creatures can be viewed in their natural habitat.
The best time for bear-spotting is October and
November, when thousands of visitors come from all
over the world to watch the animals migrate from their
summer homes to prime seal-hunting territory on
Hudson Bay.
Stay at a wilderness lodge on the bears' migration
path, or take a tundra vehicle, helicopter or guided
walking tour over ice and snow — you'll write about
the amazing experience with your tour guide,
and the Arctic safari adventure is a memory you'll
cherish your whole life.
Service to Churchill is by air or rail only; for fall trips,
it's advised you book early to ensure a seat.
