Laundry room
Most laundry rooms consist of a washer, a
dryer and a pile of dirty clothes on the floor.
That's not effective — and certainly not necessary. Boisselle outfits laundry rooms with
shelves for detergents, hampers to sort laundry, a folding counter and an ironing station
with either a drop-down board or one that
tucks away into a drawer. Those with money
to spare can even put in a wall dryer specifically for smaller items like socks, underwear
and workout gear.
Bathroom
Since most people prefer to keep their bathroom essentials under wraps, Grantham
tends to veer away from open shelving. Taller
units that keep cosmetics, bathroom appliances, all the many towels and various other
lotions and potions behind closed doors are
most popular in this space. And it helps to
have compartments in vanity drawers to sort
smaller items like nail clippers and tweezers.
