PRESIDENT PatO'Connor 204.480.9444 blackwoodwealthplanning.com When Robert Janzen died last August following a lengthy struggle with cancer, the 53-year-old's family asked that memorial gifts be directed to the CMU Library and Learning Commons project. Rob's love of knowledge led him to study at Canadian Mennonite Bible College, one of CMU's predecessor colleges. His interest in agriculture led to further studies at the University of Manitoba and University of Alberta, where he received his doctorate in soil science in 1993. Rob's former partners at ClimateCHECK, along with his wife Janet, family and friends, recently established The Dr. Robert Janzen Memorial Scholarship in his memory for Social Science students at CMU. These memorial initiatives are ļ¬tting tributes to a hard-working farmer and a steward of the land who helped support agricultural communities around the world by sharing his expertise and kindness. Scholarship honours the memory of CMU supporter
