We are very pleased to have had 37 grade 12 students graduate this year from Helen Betty Osborne Ininiw Education Resource Centre and 83 post-secondary, diploma, certificate program and trades graduates. We are very proud of each and every one of you and of the diversity of your interests, talents and aspirations. Your contributions to our community will be tremendous. As graduates, you have acquired an abundance of knowledge and skills that will assist you in your career, your continued education, your personal life and in contributing your community. This foundation is critical to your future, and just the beginning of what you will learn in your life journey. Graduation is a significant milestone in life and is a time of reflection both on the past and the future. As students, you have learned that education requires commitment, dedication and focus which you have clearly demonstrated. Equally important is the guidance and support from family, friends, teachers, guidance Councillors and community which has contributed to your success, and I would like to acknowledge and recognize this. We are forever grateful for the love and support our community provides to our young people in their pursuit of education. You will have made many memories and developed friendships which you will treasure and keep with you for a life time. For our grade 12 graduates, we hope you will continue your education and skills training so that you will follow your career path of choice. Today is the beginning of a new journey, and the marking of a new direction in your life. Whichever direction you chose, follow your heart and your dreams for they will lead you on the path to success. Once again Congratulations! May God continue to bless and guide you as you embark on your this next chapter in your life.
