If you didn't catch the whimsical movie Boy from Australia last month, you can tune in for The Insatiable Moon this month. And when Thanksgiving Day rolls around and if you need to work off some of that turkey and tryptophan, you can always flip your remote to the epic mini- series Into The West. In award-winning The Insatiable Moon from New Zealand, Arthur, a Maori man, is the self-proclaimed second son of God and on a mission to save the world he adores. Chance miracles can also happen when Arthur's around. Join his realm made up of a loyal group of boarding house friends, where Arthur brings amazement and aspiration to his charmed urban life. Behold adventures in a world that is often concealed from others. The Insatiable Moon airs on October 2 at 9:00 p.m. (MT) on APTN West. Come Thanksgiving Day; join APTN for a return to the Wild West. It'll be an epic day of adventures spanning the Gold Rush, Pony Express, Transcontinental Railroad and the Indian Wars. Into The West is a compelling six-part miniseries that unfolds to recount two families' quests in search of prosperity and the American dream – and it's not without conflict, joy and agony. This was a time when thousands of people searched for a better life and ravaged the lives of the inhabitants of the land. Into The West marathon airs on October 13 at 12:00 p.m. (MT) on APTN West. Set in rural Arkansas and bustling New York City, From Above depicts the courtship between William and Venus in the style of a flashback narrative. Their relationship is riddled with the challenges of society, circumstance and the familial influences that keep them apart. An uncommon tale that weaves Shakespearian influence and a mystical A b o r i g i n a l character into its storyline - starring Tantoo Cardinal as Venus. From Above airs on October 15 at 9:00 p.m. (MT) on APTN West. With fall starting to roll in, APTN's programming will keep it going with some drama. Keep your eyes peeled and ears perked up for new season premieres of Arctic Air, Blackstone and Longmire next month. Also a sure fire hit from the Mohawk side of the country will be the new head-turning series Mohawk Girls. It's been compared to Sex in the City with serious Mohawk style.
