"That is very popular, I have that — it's a nice pullout so it's not the typical garbage under the sink," she says. "It looks like a piece of cabinetry with a cabinet front and you pull it out and it's usually a double bin, a nice tall plastic bin. Some people use both for garbage; I use one for garbage and one for recycling." Pullout shelves in cupboards and soft-close drawers with full- extension drawer boxes provide easy access to cookware, cut- lery and pantry items. and while walk-in and walk-through pantries are in demand, butler's pantries are gaining ground. "That one is something that's become a little bit more pop- ular," Vadacchino says. "It's almost like a small kitchen off a kitchen, which gives nice storage, nice function. It might be coupled as a service area to a dining room or something like that.
