BISHOP VELYCHKOVSKY MARTYR'S SHRINE
This is Canada's second martyr's shrine. A beautiful chapel contains the relics (mortal remains) of the Ukrainian Catholic martyr, Blessed Vasyl Velychkovsky. Beatified by Pope John Paul II, Blessed Vasyl suffered severe tortures during the Soviet regime and died in Winnipeg in 1973. A museum with artifacts and a video depicts the martyr's life story. Open Tuesday to Friday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Guided tours available. Free admission.

CANADIAN MUSEUM FOR HUMAN RIGHTS
Self-guided QR Tour: Take a perimeter tour of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights construction site using your smart phone! QR barcodes are set up along the perimeter tour route and link to an audio tour that shares details about the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. QR tours begin at stop 1 which is located on the south-western part of the perimeter fence and proceeds eastward for a total of five stops.

EXCHANGE DISTRICT NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE
Established at the turn-of-the-century, the Exchange District National Historic Site is the original centre of commerce and culture in Winnipeg. FIRE FIGHTERS MUSEUM OF WINNIPEG
This two-and-a-half storey firehall built in 1904 has an 1882 Ronald Steamer, 1928 LaFrance, 1930 LaFrance, 1936 Diamond T hose wagon, 1958 Mack, 1966 Mack, 1870 hand-drawn hose reel, 1880 hand- drawn chemical reel and 1900 horse- drawn hose wagon on display. It features a stable, hayloft, oat bin, harness room and archives. Open year-round Saturday and Sunday, noon – 4 p.m., weekdays by appointment. Admission charged. Main floor only wheelchair accessible.

GRANT'S OLD MILL
Tour this working replica of the flour mill (1829) operated by Cuthbert Grant. Organic grain grown locally, freshly ground triticale, rye, whole wheat, buckwheat flour and pancake mix, as well as other souvenirs, are sold on site. Open May to Labour Day, or by appointment. Group tours are available. Admission by donation. Only first floor is wheelchair accessible.
