The province's fastest growing city and largest centre in the Pembina Valley, Winkler's roots are agriculture. It has become the shopping and industrial centre of Southern Manitoba, home of Triple E Trailers and other large manufacturing plants and foundries. The Winkler Harvest Festival and Exhibition is held the second full weekend in August.

PEMBINA THRESHERMEN'S MUSEUM
The Pembina Threshermen's Museum contains steam threshing equipment used by the early pioneers and celebrates the Pembina Threshermen's Reunion the second weekend in September. Open May to September, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. weekdays, 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. weekends. Admission charged.
