JOHN KENDLE EDITOR'S NOTE Thanks for your support W hen the inaugural issue of Winnipeg Boomer hit the streets last November, I was in Vancouver, recovering from the Bombers' loss in the 2011 Grey Cup. As I made my way back home that day, I checked email from my hotel, from Vancouver International Airport and again from Calgary. To my pleasant surprise, a lot of it was about Winnipeg Boomer — many notes of thanks and support, with a couple from people I hadn't heard from in years. Reaction was the same on my Facebook page and, when the guys who run the Manitoba Music Museum Facebook group got hold of John Einarson's Do you remember…? col- umn about 1960s teen clubs, they posted the story word-for-word and then linked to it once it hit the web. There are several ways. Approximately 20,000 copies of Boomer are delivered directly with the Winnipeg Free Press to select home subscribers. In addition, 10,000 copies of the magazine are distributed through clinics, doctors' offices, at MLCC Liquor Marts and on racks throughout the city. You can also see our subscription form on page 19 if you don't want to miss an issue. You can find us on the web, too, at www.winnipegfreepress.com/publica- tions/. If you click on the Winnipeg Boomer icon, you'll find a page-by- page reproduction of the print edition of the magazine. And please, don't be afraid to send me an email if you'd like to make any comments or suggestions. I look forward to hearing from you.
