The community will soon to be home to a ventura land
Company development, Quarry ridge Park, as well.
ventura vice-president of development Tim Comack
says the town has a lot to offer new residents.
"Stonewall has every amenity: K-12 schools, a hospital,
restaurants, banking, groceries, indoor/outdoor rec-
reational centres with a huge ice plex, curling rink, a
swimming destination, endless park space and more,"
Comack says.
Quarry ridge Park has 21 acres of greenspace, plus
more than 10 acres of dedicated forest parkland, with
large park and pond lots available.
"There are some 650 homes planned over the next 15-
20 years, effectively doubling the size of the town with
much needed housing like single-family starter homes,
mid-sized homes, huge homes backing onto parks,
townhouses, bungalow condos and apartment con-
dos," Comack says.
Just south of Winnipeg, ventura developments King-
swood South and Prairie view lakes in la Salle are also
just minutes from the Perimeter, but they have the feel
of a place that is much farther away.
Stacy Brambilla, sales representative with gino's Homes,
says homeowners can build on nice, big lots, and in the
location of their choice at Prairie view lakes.
"The real advantage to building in that new develop-
ment is you can pick your lot," Brambilla says.
usually, builders own the lots they build on and cus-
tomers are limited to what their builder has available.
not so in Prairie view lakes.
"If the client comes in and they want to build with gi-
no's, then as long as a lot hasn't already been spoken
for, it's yours."
