Families flock to friendly southeast Winnipeg

>> Some neighbourhoods seem to fly under the radar, while oth-
ers are always in the spotlight.
Take the Waverley West area, for example. Once Bridgwater Forest
and South Pointe came on line several years back, pent-up demand
for housing stock in that central area saw both areas boom.
Meanwhile, communities that pre-dated them — such as Sage
Creek, which had broken ground several years earlier — were over-
shadowed by Waverley West's wild popularity. More recently, the
revival of River Park South was also obscured by the long shadow
cast by Bridgwater Lakes and South Pointe.
But it seems an interesting phenomenon has been happening in
the Qualico Communities: Sage Creek and River Park South are
steadily gaining ground. Today, increasing numbers of home buy-
ers are choosing to make those communities home.
