South Pointe is growing, with a new school
and flourishing greenspace

>> excitement is building in South pointe with construction un-
derway for a new school as the development moves into its final
phase.
Starting in 2008, land went up for sale in South Pointe by Ladco
Company Ltd., a locally owned family company that has done busi-
ness in Winnipeg since 1919.
David Borger, Ladco's vice-presi-
dent of development, says they're
now nearing completion of the
entire first phase, which spans 460
acres in southwest Winnipeg.
"Things have been going very
well since the inception of South Pointe. We're putting on the final
touches for the first phase, which was seven stages with 1,400 lots.
We've sold approximately 90%," Borger says.
