APTN will bring back a Cashing In Marathon, so you can work off some of the bird, ham or bannock that filled you up just right on Thanksgiving Day. In mid-October, there's an APTN Movie to surprise you with some action in the ring in Million Dollar Baby. You can look forward to the end of the month when the charming crew from the Kahnawake side of the country are back with a new season premiere of the Mohawk Girls! And a second season of The Other Side also premieres with stories inspired by spirits. Join the colourful, crooked businessman Matthew Tommy on his mission to make North Beach, North America's top First Nations casino! His prosperous palace of gaming is on the Stonewalker First Nation and neighbor of an affluent Manitoba beach community. The cast is a colourful swirl of swindling executives, schemers and community members. Classic charmers: Eric Schweig, Glen Gould and Sarah Podemski star in this series. Cashing In Marathon, Seasons 1 – 4 airs on October 12 at 2:00 p.m. (MT) on APTN West. Then enter the boxing ring with Maggie Fitzgerald, who possesses a natural know-how, a steady focus and an astounding discipline. She's backed by Frankie Dunn, seasoned boxing trainer, and is on course to be the first woman to walk away with one million in prize money. But is she fit to take on the harsh nature of the battle that comes with being a pro? Hilary Swank and Clint Eastwood are cast in this gritty drama. Million Dollar Baby premieres on October 17 at 9:00 p.m. (MT) on APTN West. Come sashay with Bailey, Zoe, Caitlin and Anna: Mohawk- style! These 20 something-year-olds are back and haven't seen the last of their uncommon, but commonly Kahnawake conundrums, like everyone's dated everyone in the local dating pool. Join them on their comedic and drama-filled adventures in search of identity, happiness and love, while they balance the conflicting influences that shape their lives: community expectations and the exhilaration of freedom. New this season is a second viewing experience, and while you watch the series, you can interact with Mohawk Girls on your computer, tablet or cell phone! Mohawk Girls, Season 3 premieres on October 27 at 9:00 p.m. (MT) on APTN West featuring two back-to- back episodes. Get spooked when Canada's hottest Aboriginal intuitive returns this Halloween! Follow Jeff Richards and his team of paranormal investigators in their pursuit to channel the most unsettled spirits. Go ghost hunting for a second season and experience spirit sightings from an Aboriginal perspective.
