Academy Florist wedding consultant Tessa Meisner likes to see brides about seven months before a wedding. She says they should arrive with four things: A colour palette, inspiration photos, a budget and, most important, an open mind. Your florist can recommend flower varieties based on the season, your preferred colours and where you want to make a splash: If the bridal bouquet is a higher priority than decor and centrepieces, budget allotments will reflect that choice. "Brides generally invest more in their bouquet and their bridesmaids' bouquets. The bouquet is going to be a star in more photos," Meisner says. >>
