26 who's who WEDDINGS Geoff and Elaina combined their wedding celebration and their favourite holiday with an intimate celebration in December 2014. Geoff brought his love for fine food and wine to the table, and architectural lighting designer Elaina took special care with all the small details, creating a wonderfully warm table to bring a kitchen-party ambience to the elegant affair. "We really wanted to have a wedding where we could talk and spend quality, intimate one-on-one time with all our family and friends to enjoy food and a good time!" Elaina says. Close friends pitched in to coordinate services and style the venue and extra-special touches reflected the couple's personalities. Instead of cake, Elaina and Geoff had a candy table, and guests took home bags of candy as favours. And instead of signing a guest book, guests were invited to sign glass Christmas decorations for the Christmas tree! "We thought what better way to incorporate our wedding day into our favourite holiday than by having our guests sign Christmas balls for us to hang on our Christmas tree as a reminder of our wonderful wedding day," Elaina says. ❦ Venue: Anna Events Studio.
