APTN Movies will expand its collection of features starting the week of March 14th when Night Owl Movies presents a different movie every night for the night owl inside of you. Night Owl Movies broadcasts a feature nightly on March 14 to April 3 at 1:00 a.m. MT on aptn w. APTN Movies will also premiere two new titles this month. And the first premiere is the award-winning MAÏNA. In the bloody aftermath of a clash between Innu and Inuit; MAÏNA, daughter of an Innu chief, sets out to rescue her friend's son from their Inuit enemy. Trek with MAÏNA across stunning northern seascapes and landscapes as her own safety is in question while on a mission to the Land of Ice. Featuring a cast of inter-generational famous faces including Tantoo Cardinal, Graham Greene, Eric Schweig and Roseanne Supernault. MAÏNA premieres March 10 at 9:00 p.m. MT on aptn w. The second premiere, The Lesser Blessed, is also award- winning and based on the critically acclaimed novel by Richard Van Camp, who was a writer for North of 60. The Lesser Blessed confesses the love story of Larry Sole, a 16-year-old boy, during his period of teenage anxiety and the unexpected that comes along with complicated young love. He's also haunted by a dark mystery in his past. Can Larry's love for heavy metal music, the North and Juliet Hope, the high school girl who attracts others through lust, save him? Starring fresh faces Joel Evans and Kiowa Gordon. The Lesser Blessed premieres March 24 at 9:00 p.m. MT on aptn w. Come the middle of the month, watch Canada's top 16 to 18-year-old prospects Hit The Ice when this youth series returns for a fourth season about an all-Indigenous, high-level hockey camp. And this time, the stakes are higher than ever. A select team of prospects from across the nation are coached to overcome rigorous challenges to develop their training and skills, along with maturing as a team and on a personal level. With the final cuts whose goal is beyond reach? Hit The Ice, Season 4 premieres March 15 at 3:00 p.m. MT on aptn w and a new episode broadcasts every Tuesday at 9:00 p.m. MT on aptn w. Then immerse and tantalize your senses all day long with some Moosemeat & Marmalade on Easter Monday. Cree bush cook Art Napoleon and British chef Dan Hayes are from opposite sides of the pond and spectrums of the culinary arts.
