Families can also sign up to take part in hands- on fossil dig tours throughout the summer. Travel back in time in style aboard the Prairie Dog Central (pdcrailway.com). Owned and operated by the Vintage Locomotive Society, the Prairie Dog is one of the oldest operating vintage trains in North America.
