who's who 2017 Manitoba RV Show & Sale 9 By Darrin Bauming W hether it's for work or play, Western Turbo & Fuel Injection is the one-stop shop for all your diesel service and repair needs. "We are the premier diesel service shop carrying an extensive inventory of genuine Bosch diesel parts," Chris Deeley, parts and customer service, says of the 38-year business. "We specialize in diesel applications – whatever your vehicle. We do complete vehicle service, for construction, agricultural, RVs and your daily driver. We do everything." Deeley is part of a dynamic team of 20 full-time staff at the Winnipeg-based company, located on Eagle Drive just off Oak Point Highway. It features an expansive parts department, nine service bays and a fuel shop with more than $1 million of injection and fuel pump test equipment. The test equipment is what sets Western Turbo apart from the average repair shop. "We are one of a handful of shops across the country that has made such a substantial investment in test equipment," Deeley says. "We can handle small diesel cars to 70-foot truck-and-trailer units. The big diesel motorhomes, we can bring those right inside and work on them. "But our level of customer service is amazing. That's what sets us apart." A retired couple that travelled across Canada could attest to that. "Their diesel truck broke down on the side of the highway," Deeley recalls. "They got a hold of us and camped in our lot for three days. "We gave them options to fix their vehicle, and even gave them a vehicle to use. Glenn Kroeze took care of them." Kroeze, Western Turbo's service manager, is one of several staff with more than 20 years of experience. It's that level of dedication and attention to detail that's made Western Turbo a place people come back to. "We've got one couple, they've owned their truck since the 1980s. We're the only people that work on their truck. They will not take it anywhere else," Deeley says. Era or application – no difference to the experts at Western Turbo. It's a big reason why Deeley says many of their construction and agricultural customers become long-term clients. "We replace things and repair things that are from the 1950s, '60s and '70s, for injection pumps, injectors, turbochargers and all the older equipment," he says. "We have a large inventory of parts and equipment. And if it's not in stock, we have parts arriving, flying in and coming in by ground every day." Even if your vehicle is newer and running well, Deeley says Western Turbo's selection of electronic performance modules, which they sell right across Canada, cover everything from highway tractor and diesel trucks to agricultural applications, providing increased fuel efficiency and performance. It also uses top products such as Stanadyne, a fuel additive for diesel engines. Whether you're tuning up the RV, prepping your tow vehicle for a trip to the lake or getting down to business for a smooth work week, Deeley, Kroeze and their expert team have you covered. ❙ For more information about Western Turbo & Fuel Injection, visit online at westernturbo.com or iamdiesel.com, or call 204-632-1366 or 1-800-665-7556.
