W ith the anticipation of spring just around the corner, almost every weekend in March at the RBC Convention Centre welcomes crowds of people looking for inspiration and information on the coolest trends and hottest products hitting the market. From boats to RVs to classic cars and patio sets, there's something for everyone during consumer show season at the convention centre. Spanning over two city blocks and encompassing over 131,000 square feet of exhibition space, the third floor will be home to the Mid-Canada Boat Show (March 2-5), Manitoba RV Show & Winnipeg Golf Expo (March 9-12), Piston Ring World of Wheels (March 24-26) and the Winnipeg Home + Garden Show (April 6-9). As one of the most successful and longest running boat shows in Canada, the Mid-Can- ada Boat Show features all types and styles of boats, engines, trailers, accessories, and everything that goes with, on or in the wa- ter. For the fishing and hunting enthusiast, joining the show for the first time will be the Hook & Bullet Show with over 20,000 sq. ft. of exhibits and displays. The Manitoba RV Show features RV deal- ers, campgrounds and resorts, service and supplier firms, outdoor recreational sports stores, finance and insurance companies and hundreds of hard to find parts and accesso- ries. Joining the RV Show again this year is the Winnipeg Golf Expo from Friday to Sunday. The 43rd Annual Piston Ring World of Wheels is Manitoba's premier hot rod and custom car show for car enthusiasts of all ages and features Manitoba's best hot rods, coolest rides, customs, trucks, muscle cars and motorcycles plus demonstrations, unique car displays, special celebrity ap- pearances and awards and cash prizes for the participants. Offering all the newest and best ideas in exterior and interior products, décor, out- door living and landscaping, the Winnipeg Home + Garden Show also features some of Canada's most knowledgeable and popu- lar designers, gardeners, realtors and home improvement specialists. Featured on The Main Stage will be HGTV Canada's Bryan and Sarah Baeumler of Bryan Inc., Carson Arthur and Tiffany Pratt from HGTV Cana- da's Home to Win as well as a line-up of local favourites.
