One of the newest additions is Ancient Seas, a completely immersive, animated underwater environment that takes you back 450 million years to a tropical sea that once existed where Churchill is today. The Discovery Room is updated every six months with treasures from the vaults. Visit the newly refurbished Earth History Gallery and discover why one of the Museum's curators is in the Guinness Book of World Records. The Manitoba Museum is the recipient of the Michelin Green Guide top award, a designation of Worth the Trip; the Province of Manitoba Tourism Service The renovated Science Gallery now includes "Engineered for Speed" where visitors design and build their own remote-controlled race cars and test them on the giant race track, a water area with a self-sustained ecosystem and an Explore Science Zone with multiple hands-on activities.
