It is a designated Provincial and National Historic Site. The new Visitors' Centre features a well-appointed gift shop, auditorium space for meetings and events and free parking. The Museum is open Wednesday to Sunday year-round, hours change seasonally. Interpretive tours provided daily. Group tours should be booked at least one week in advance.
