ST AR A T TR A C TION S 54 PISEW FALLS- KWASITCHEWAN FALLS At Pisew Falls, the Grass River drops 13 m/42.7 ft, changes direction and jets down through a gorge. A short boardwalk leads to observation platforms. Another ½ km/1/3 mi trail leads to the Rotary Bridge over the Grass River below the falls giving access to trails leading to the top of Pisew Falls and to a 22 km return hiking trail to Kwasitchewan Falls, Manitoba's highest waterfall. Housed in the former Community Building and Court House, a provincial designated heritage building built in 1916, the museum exhibits tell the fascinating stories of this historic community and region. Historical walking tours are available. Open daily, July and August 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.; September to June 1 - 5 p.m. Admission charged; by donation on Wednesdays.
