That includes smart refrigerators that scan the groceries and
condiments you put in them and send you a note to remind
you that you're out of milk.
"It's getting kind of crazy," she says.
Indeed, you can control virtually every piece of electronics
in your home with an app on your phone. And if that's too
much work, just tell your house what you want to do.
"We can program devices that let you talk to your house
and make commands," says Sean Banks, president of K&S
Electronics and Security.
"You'll have a microphone in every room. If you're in the
kitchen and you want to dim the lights, just say so. If you
want to put the radio on a certain station, (the system) will
execute that command."
